Qing Zheng is a staff member of the High-Performance Computing Design Group at Los Alamos National Laboratory. His research focuses on data storage and I/O, with recent work placing greater emphasis on analytics—the process of reading data from storage and turning it into insight. Qing received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and currently lives in Santa Fe, NM with his wife and two puppies.
