Qing Zheng

I am a Computer Scientist in the High-Performance Computing Design Group at Los Alamos National Laboratory. I perform I/O and storage research that guides the Lab’s future computing platform and storage infrastructure designs. I obtained my PhD in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 2021, advised by Prof. Garth Gibson and George Amvrosiadis. I am known for my expertise in parallel file systems, key-value storage, and analytical data processing. Some of my projects have been exhibited at local science museums, reported by national media, and recognized with R&D 100 and Supercomputing Best Paper Awards.
